The Ibanez EHB1006MS 6-string multi-scale bass combines headless construction, ergonomic design and a chambered body into a lightweight and comfortable instrument thats ideal for long sets or practice sessions. The 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck is heat-treated to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance of temperature changes, while the graphite reinforcement rods deliver massive sustain. Enjoy rich, balanced attack from the heat-treated roasted birdseye maple fretboard, topped with 24 medium stainless-steel frets, and the solid, natural tone of the American basswood body.Its sound is driven by a set of T1 humbucking pickups, which have separate dual-coil construction for a tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range and smooth response. In addition to being suited for a variety of genres and playstyles, you can adjust the height of each single coil individually for precise sound shaping. The EQ bypass control offers precision tonal adjustments, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypass is activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit. Customize your sound further with the Vari-mid 3-band EQ, featuring a variable mid-frequency control which allows you to dial in a wide range of sounds. The MR5HS bridge is designed specially for EHB basses and features a wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independently and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer, and the saddles are adjustable for string spacing +/-1.5mm. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for a smooth tuning action.
